Zooarchaeology is the learn of animal remains from archaeological sites. A remains primarily consist of the tough area of the body such as bones, teeth & shells. Such remains represent a food garbage of ancient populations besides when the apply of beast transport, decoration, or even pets. Zooarchaeology assists complete my picture of a way of life of ancient humans & the kinda environments they inhabited.

ICAZ is an international organization for those interested in studying the rich history of human/animal interactions through the analysis of archaeological animal bones.
